Due to a defective accessory, Ducati has recalled nearly 3,000 Diavel motorcycles in the US. Models manufactured between 2016 and 2023 that are impacted include the S and Standard versions.
Currently, the recall only affects the US market; no similar announcement has been made for India. For further information, Ducati has advised owners of XDiavels to get in touch with the dealership.
The backrests that were included in the accessory package are the subject of the recall due to improper fitting. According to Ducati, there's a chance the backrest will crack and the pillion will tumble off the bike. According to the motorcycle manufacturer, dealers installed these backrests.
