Emobi delivers 100 electric vehicles, enabled by Musashi and HEID
Emobi expands its electric last-mile delivery footprint in Bengaluru with 100 AKX Kyari scooters backed by Musashi and HEID technology.

India’s electric mobility landscape is witnessing a massive transformation as local innovation accelerates the transition toward sustainable logistics. In a major milestone for the country's growing micro-fleet sector, Emobi Manufacturing Private Limited has officially rolled out its latest green initiative. The Bengaluru-based startup is transforming urban deliveries, showcasing how strategic partnerships can effortlessly drive the future of commercial electric transportation.
Addressing the high demands of last-mile delivery, the emerging Karnataka manufacturer has successfully introduced a new wave of practical, high-performance scooters to the city's bustling streets. This strategic deployment focuses on significantly reducing daily operating costs while simultaneously empowering local rider-partners. By integrating cutting-edge powertrain technology and accessible battery infrastructure, the brand is setting a fresh benchmark for commercial micro-entrepreneurship.
Powering Last-Mile Logistics
Emobi recently deployed 100 units of its capable AKX Kyari electric scooters across Bengaluru. Manufactured exclusively for Tekinverse, these vehicles are leased to rider-partners through the Muvnw platform. This micro-fleet model is designed to offer riders better livelihood opportunities by removing their dependence on fuel-intensive combustion engines.
By lowering operating costs, delivery partners can retain a much larger share of their income. Emobi's CEO, Bharath Rao, emphasized that this rollout represents a major shift toward scalable micro-entrepreneurship. To ensure maximum fleet uptime, Tekinverse and Muvnw have established dedicated service-level agreements backed by responsive roadside assistance.
Performance Rivaling Traditional Scooters

The AKX Kyari is engineered to meet the grueling demands of India’s commercial logistics sector. Delivering performance on par with conventional 125cc petrol-powered scooters, the Kyari offers an impressive IDC range of 106 kilometers. Riders can navigate city traffic with a top speed of 80 km/h and brisk acceleration from 0 to 60 kmph in just 12 seconds.
Underneath its utilitarian design, the scooter features a 3.7 kW peak motor and a 1.5 kWh dual-swappable battery setup. Safety remains a primary focus, with a Sync Brake system that provides riders with enhanced control during heavy-duty hauling.
Japanese Engineering and Swappable Tech
The backbone of this successful deployment lies in Emobi's strategic technological alliances. The AKX Kyari is powered by an advanced e-axle system developed by Musashi India, a subsidiary of the Japanese precision forging leader. Naoya Nishimura, CEO of Musashi India and Africa, noted that this collaboration perfectly demonstrates the real-world impact of localized e-axle engineering.
Furthermore, the scooters utilize the robust e: Swap network provided by Honda Power Pack Energy India (HEID). By adopting a Battery as a Service (BaaS) model, Emobi eliminates battery purchase costs and future replacement worries for riders, drastically cutting commercial downtime.
Expanding the Green Footprint
While Bengaluru serves as the launching pad for this 100-vehicle fleet, Emobi has its sights set on broader horizons. The manufacturer is actively scaling its micro-factory and micro-fleet service model across other major metropolitan areas, starting with Delhi NCR.
This upcoming expansion will support much higher deployment volumes and pave the way for new product introductions. As India aggressively pushes toward cleaner commercial transport, collaborations between localized EV manufacturers and global technology providers will remain essential in shaping a reliable, sustainable mobility ecosystem.
CarBike 360 Says
As the electric mobility wave reshapes India's commercial landscape, Emobi’s bold initiative proves that sustainability and profitability can effortlessly coexist. By championing local engineering and strategic global partnerships, the future of urban logistics isn't just greener; it is actively empowering the delivery heroes driving our cities forward.
