Gogoro, the Taiwanese EV maker famous for its battery-swapping tech, has launched its CrossOver EV 2 wheeler in India. The Gogoro CrossOver electric 2 wheeler comes in 3 different variants with different battery capacities. Targeted towards B2B as well as private buyers, all the 3 variants of the Gogoro CrossOver will cater to customers with different daily running requirements. Out of the 3 variants of the Gogoro CrossOver EV 2 wheeler, the version with the smallest battery pack of 2.5 kW is the Gogoro CrossOver GX250. Whereas the mid variant is the Gogoro CrossOver 50 with a battery capacity of 5 kW. And the top most variant with highest battery capacity of 6.4 kW or 7.2 kW is the Gogoro CrossOver S. The Gogoro CrossOver GX250 will offer a range of 111 km with a top speed of over 60 km/h. The e-scooter also gets front & rear disc brakes and has a ground clearance of 176mm.

On the features front, the EV 2 wheeler gets all around LED lights, split-seats, Bluetooth & smartphone connectivity, fully digital instrument cluster, and more. The scooters also come with decent under seat storage and an optional rack for more storage.

The Gogoro CrossOver will first be available only for B2B buyers. However, private buyers will also be able to buy it from Q2 of 2024. The Gogoro CrossOver electric scooter will be available in Delhi and Goa for now, but Mumbai and Pune will be added to the Gogoro network in Q1 of 2024.
With the unveil of CrossOver electric scooter, Gogoro aims to capture the market share in B2B as well as B2C EV 2 wheeler segment in India. Moreover, Gogoro has already committed an investment of 1.5 Billion in the Indian state of Maharashtra with its first manufacturing facility already ready, ensuring that these new e-scooters are made in India.
