Revolt RVX electric motorcycle launched in India at Rs 1.30 lakh
Revolt RVX debuts in India as an affordable electric motorcycle offering modern features, practical range, and urban-friendly performance, strengthening the brand’s EV portfolio.

Revolt Motors has introduced the RVX electric motorcycle in India at an introductory price of Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The RVX targets younger riders and expands the brand’s electric motorcycle portfolio. It features a new mid-drive permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) rated at 4kW, with a peak output of 5.3kW. The company claims the RVX delivers up to 230Nm of torque at the rear wheel.

Key Specifications and Features
The RVX accelerates from 0 to 40 kph in 3.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 90 kph in boost mode. It draws power from a 3.24 kWh removable NMC battery pack, which offers an IDC-certified range of 160 km on a single charge. Using a fast charger, the battery charges from 0 to 80 percent in 80 minutes.
The motorcycle uses a USD fork at the front and a rear monoshock for suspension. It comes equipped with a new 3.5-inch IP67-rated PMVA display that supports Bluetooth connectivity, telematics, and over-the-air updates. Riders can choose from four riding modes: Boost, Sport, City, and Eco.
Additional features include geofencing, call and message notifications, hill-hold assist, reverse mode, walk assist, an immobiliser, and a vehicle locator. The RVX is available in three colors: Pearl Black, Electric Blue, and Eclipse Red.
Market Position and Pricing
The RVX is priced at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, inclusive of PM E-DRIVE incentives). In Delhi, after state EV policy incentives, the effective ex-showroom price is Rs 94,990. Revolt Motors will sell the RVX through its network of over 200 dealerships across India.
The RVX competes closely with the Oben Rorr EVO, which starts at Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Within Revolt’s lineup, the RVX is positioned above the RV BlazeX (Rs 1.20 lakh), at par with the RV400 BRZ (Rs 1.30 lakh), and below the RV400 (Rs 1.40 lakh). The RV1 and RV1+ remain the brand’s entry-level models.
