LiveWire History

  • Harley Davidson launched its electric line up with the introduction of LiveWire motorcycle in 2019. At first, the e-bikes of Harley were unveiled in a few regions, revealing a permanent-magnet electric motor and a 15.5kWh high-voltage Li-ion battery; the first LiveWire e-bike offered riders a range of 142 kms.
  • Next unveiling by LiveWire took place in 2021. Named LiveWire One, the bike was powered by the same Revelation motor. However, this time it was equipped with a 15.4kWh lithium-ion battery pack, and ensured a range of 235 kms.
  • And now the brand is back again with its soon-to-be- launched e-bike LiveWire S2 Mulholland, anticipated to be unveiled on March 21, 2024.

LiveWire S2 Mulholland: Expectations

Now that the anticipation has built around LiveWire S2 Mulholland's debut, enthusiasts have been curiously waiting and talking about the upcoming additional and new features in the e-bike. From the recently showcased teaser video, it is speculated that a comfortable upright seating position with a possibility of accommodating a pillion passenger can be seen.

The e-bike is expected to house a S2 Arrow Architecture integrating the e-motor, battery pack, and electronic systems into a single unit.  The chassis design is said to be taken from the earlier offerings of LiveWire.

Performance and Range

Expected to be equipped with a 10.5 kWh battery pack and range exceeding 180 kms on a single charge, LiveWire S2 Mulholland can be said to match the power and performance with its predecessors. The battery is said to be easily charged within 78 minutes when charged with a Level 2 fast-charger.
