Hero is leaving no stone turned to mark its presence and dominance in the two-wheeler manufacturing industry. The company has recently made news by launching its Hero Mavrick 440, inspired by Harley Davidson X440, in February, 2024 in the Indian Market. The same A2-license compliant is going to launch in the UK soon.

Strategic Expansion

This decision of Hero to expand its expansion in the UK market, has received positive criticism from the experts. Maverick will be targeting the lower end of the spectrum of cruiser bikes in the UK. It is expected to be priced below GBP 5,000 (Rs 52,77,790) (ex-showroom). To implement its expansion plan in the UK and European market, Hero MotoCorp has partnered with MotoGB.

Power and Performance

Talking about the engine one can find Maverick equipped with is a 440cc, single-cylinder engine housed with steel trellis chassis. Featuring two-valve, SOHC configuration, the powertrain delivers 27 bhp of power at 6000 rpm and  a peak torque of 36 Nm at 4000 rpm.

Features and Technology

The Mavrick 440 comes with plenty of modern features, including a digital speedometer, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and LED lighting throughout. Inspired by the Harley-Davidson X440, this roadster-style motorcycle inherits its American counterpart's excellent engineering and design elements.
