Hero MotoCorp, India's leading two-wheeler manufacturer, has taken the wraps off its much-anticipated Hero Maverick 440, promising a blend of commanding design, cutting-edge technology, and powerful performance. The unveiling signals a leap into the future for the iconic brand.

Design That Commands Attention

The Hero Maverick 440 boasts a commanding presence with a frontal concentration of mass. The metal armor, comprising the tank, shroud, and Y-shaped side cover, accentuates the motorcycle's robust build. Adding a touch of elegance with a modern flair, the round headlamp, adorned with signature H-shaped DRLs, ensures a striking visual appeal.

Technological Marvels

In the technology department, the Hero Maverick 440 shines with an all-LED lighting setup, including driving beam, passing beam, DRL, position lamp, tail lamp, and turn signal lamp, all operating at 13.5 V. The digital speedometer, equipped with a sleek negative display, integrates seamlessly with smartphones, providing convenient features like turn-by-turn navigation and a gear indicator.

Under the hood, the Maverick 440 is powered by a 440cc air-cooled with oil-cooled single-cylinder engine. This powerhouse unleashes a raw power of 20.13 kW/27 bhp at 6000 rpm, accompanied by a thumping exhaust sound that commands attention. The engine generates a high torque of 36 Nm at 4000 rpm, ensuring ample low-end power. The 6-speed transmission with a slipper clutch promises a smoother transition between speeds for an optimised riding experience.

Superior Ride and Handling

The Hero Maverick 440 features a high tensile steel trellis frame that enables high-speed stability on long tours and superior handling on short dashes. The superior riding ergonomics, characterised by a muscular build and balanced dynamics, combine great agility with a high level of precision and stability.

Hero MotoCorp has announced that bookings for the Maverick 440 will commence in February 2024, along with the official price announcement. The first set of Maverick 440 motorcycles is set to hit the roads with deliveries starting in April 2024.
