​Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest motorcycle and scooter manufacturer, has officially entered the French market, marking its 52nd international presence. The launch, in partnership with GD France, introduces the advanced Euro 5 range led by the eagerly awaited Hunk 440, a motorcycle engineered for performance, style, and everyday practicality.

This interim partnership was celebrated at the iconic UTAC Mortefontaine proving ground near Paris. The launch event offered guests exclusive riding experiences showcasing the Hunk 440’s capabilities. This move solidifies Hero MotoCorp’s growing European footprint, following successful expansions in Italy, Spain, and the UK.

Strategic Expansion into France

Hero MotoCorp’s entry into France is a significant milestone in the company’s European growth journey. The partnership with GD France ensures strong distribution and after-sales support. The Indian two-wheeler brand is also planning to expand this network to 50 dealers by 2026 and achieve full deployment by 2028, enhancing access and customer experience.

The Hero Hunk 440: A New Benchmark

The world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer's debut in France is the Hero Hunk 440, designed to meet the demands of modern riders who seek a blend of power, style, and practicality. The bike is compliant with Euro 5 standards. The Hunk 440 fits within the A2 performance category, ideal for both city commuting and highway rides. The motorcycle is capable of producing 27 HP of power and a robust 36 Nm of torque. The bike also offers strong low-end power and high-speed stability.

The Hunk 440 is equipped with advanced features that enhance safety, connectivity, and aesthetics. The bike also comes with a dual-channel ABS with large 320 mm front and 240 mm rear discs that provide confident braking. Further highlights include the full-LED lighting and a full-digital connected TFT display with turn-by-turn navigation. Hero MotoCorp has also offered the Hunk 440 with a comprehensive 3-year warranty, extended to 5 years under a special launch offer, demonstrating its commitment to customer trust and long-term reliability.
