In January 2026, Hero MotoCorp dispatched 5,57,871 units, When compared to the January 2025 where it delivered 442,873 units it marked a sharp improvement. Where domestic sales formed the bulk of volumes, while exports continued to grow at a steady pace. In the table it is clearly mentioned that domestic sales accounted for over 93% of total dispatches, indicating Hero MotoCorp’s strong foothold in the Indian market. Exports contributed steadily to overall volumes, even though they remained lower than domestic sales.

The table above clearly highlights that scooters were the fastest-growing segment, accounting for much higher growth than motorcycles. Models like Xoom and Destini helped strengthen Hero’s presence in the scooter space, while motorcycles continued to deliver volume stability through consistent demand. When compared to January 2025, Hero MotoCorp’s performance shows clear improvement across all key areas. Total dispatches rose by nearly 26%, pointing towards stronger market conditions and better product traction.
Motorcycles continued to dominate Hero MotoCorp’s sales mix in January 2026, contributing nearly nine out of every ten vehicles sold. Growth was supported by strong traction in commuter and executive segments, with products such as Xtreme and Glamour X seeing steady demand. While growth in motorcycles was slower than scooters in percentage terms, the segment remained critical in maintaining Hero’s overall scale and market leadership.
On the other hand scooter dispatches recorded the strongest growth in January 2026. The sharp rise reflects increasing acceptance of Hero’s newer scooter offerings, especially in urban and semi-urban markets. This improvement also signals a gradual balancing of Hero MotoCorp’s portfolio, which has traditionally been motorcycle-heavy.
Hero MotoCorp’s export business continued to show positive momentum. Global dispatches grew by around 24% YoY, which is supported by consistent demand for both commuter and premium motorcycles in international markets. Although exports form a smaller share of total volumes, they are becoming increasingly important for long-term growth.

The table highlights that although motorcycles remain the main volume driver, scooter sales are growing more rapidly, supporting diversification of Hero MotoCorp’s sales mix. At the same time, exports have posted faster percentage growth than domestic sales, indicating improving traction in overseas markets.
