Hero MotoCorp has once again set new benchmarks in the Indian two-wheeler industry, reporting its highest-ever quarterly revenue and profit after tax for Q2FY26. The company’s robust financial performance reflects strong consumer demand, strategic product launches, and the positive impact of recent GST reforms. With a revenue of Rs 12,126 crore and a profit after tax of Rs 1,393 crore, Hero MotoCorp has outpaced industry growth, solidifying its position as the market leader.

Hero MotoCorp’s global operations and emerging electric vehicle segment, VIDA, have also contributed significantly to the company’s growth. The festive season, coupled with new launches and customer-centric campaigns, has driven sales volumes to 16.91 lakh units in Q2FY26, marking a year-on-year increase of 11.25%. The company’s EBITDA margin has expanded to 15%, highlighting operational efficiency and a stronger product mix.

Record-Breaking Financials

Hero MotoCorp’s Q2FY26 results showcase a remarkable 16% year-on-year growth in both revenue and profit after tax. The company’s revenue from operations reached Rs 12,126 crore, while PAT stood at Rs 1,393 crore, the highest ever for any quarter. EBITDA for the period was Rs 1,823 crore, up 20% from the previous year, with margins improving by 55 basis points to 15%.

Sales and Market Share

In Q2FY26, Hero MotoCorp sold 16.91 lakh units of motorcycles and scooters, a significant increase from the previous year. For the first half of FY26, the company’s total sales reached 30.58 lakh units, further cementing its dominance in the Indian two-wheeler market. The company’s market share remains robust, with both its ICE and EV segments experiencing strong growth.

Speaking about these milestones, Mr. Vivek Anad, Chief Financial Officer, Hero MotoCorp, said, "The change in the GST regime has fundamentally simplified India's indirect tax structure and demonstrably improved consumer sentiment. The industry witnessed direct benefits of this policy reform, reflected in strong market performance".

He also added, "Hero MotoCorp witnessed strong momentum aided by the success of our new launches, expanding product portfolio, and customer-centric marketing campaigns."

The VIDA electric scooter segment has also seen a record 11.7% market share, outperforming industry growth.
