This achievement marks a significant milestone for the company, reinforcing its leadership position and showcasing the brand’s enduring appeal among Indian consumers. The festive period, combined with strategic market initiatives, has driven unprecedented demand for Hero’s diverse product lineup, from commuter bikes to premium scooters and electric vehicles.
The company’s robust performance is not just a testament to its strong brand equity but also to its ability to adapt to evolving consumer preferences and market dynamics. Hero also reported the second successive month of over 6 lakh wholesales in October 2025. The festive sales surge also highlights the effectiveness of the company’s festive campaigns and its commitment to making two-wheelers accessible and affordable for millions of families across the country.

Hero MotoCorp’s retail sales in October 2025 reached nearly 10 lakh units, making it one of the strongest festive performances in the company’s history. This figure includes VAHAN registrations, which reflect actual customer purchases and not just dealer dispatches. The surge in retail sales is attributed to the festive demand, GST-led price reductions, and the company’s aggressive marketing strategies. The festive season saw showroom footfalls more than double compared to the previous year, indicating a strong consumer response to Hero’s offerings.
Hero MotoCorp remains the undisputed leader in India’s two-wheeler market, commanding a market share of nearly 29% in FY 2025. The company’s success is built on a foundation of continuous innovation, with 12 new category-defining scooters and motorcycles launched since the last festive season. These new models have been designed to cater to a diverse range of consumer needs, from urban commuters to adventure seekers. The company’s ability to innovate across segments has been a key driver of its market dominance.

Hero’s electric vehicle, VIDA, has shown remarkable growth, with nearly 16,000 VAHAN registrations in October 2025. This represents an 117% year-on-year increase and underscores the growing consumer trust in the VIDA brand. The recently launched VIDA VX2 has been a major contributor to this growth. The company’s focus on electric mobility is not only driving sales but also positioning Hero as a leader in the transition to sustainable transportation.

The company’s entry into the European markets with Euro5+-compliant models has opened new avenues for growth. Hero’s global footprint now spans 51 countries across Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Europe, further solidifying its position as the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters.
Hero MotoCorp’s customer-first philosophy has been central to its enduring success. The company’s focus on road safety, from providing children’s helmets to sensitizing riders, reflects its commitment to responsible mobility. Every two-wheeler sold by Hero is designed to ensure a safe and enjoyable journey for its customers.
Hero MotoCorp’s record-breaking festive sales in October 2025 are a clear indication of the brand’s strength and its ability to adapt to changing market conditions. With a strong product lineup, a focus on innovation, and a commitment to customer satisfaction, Hero MotoCorp is well-positioned to maintain its leadership in the Indian two-wheeler market for years to come.
