Hero MotoCorp has launched the updated Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 in India. The new 125cc commuter motorcycle features Bluetooth connectivity and a rated fuel efficiency of 72 kilometers per litre. The ex-showroom price in Delhi is set at Rs 86,500. This launch is part of Hero MotoCorp's strategy to refresh its product portfolio with new electronic features and updated styling.

Key Features and Specifications
The Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 is powered by a 124.7cc single-cylinder engine. This engine produces 10.7 HP at 7500 rpm and a peak torque of 10.6 Nm at 6000 rpm. The manufacturer claims a fuel efficiency of 72 kilometers per litre, achieved through programmed fuel injection and an idle stop-start system. The bike also includes an integrated starter generator, which helps reduce engine noise during startup and allows for smooth restarts in heavy traffic.
For safety, the motorcycle introduces hazard lights to the Super Splendor range. It comes equipped with a front disc brake for improved braking performance and a telescopic front suspension. The handlebar-mounted engine kill switch adds to rider convenience. The fully digital instrument cluster is a new addition, offering several modern features.
Technology and Connectivity
The digital console on the Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 supports Bluetooth connectivity. Riders can view incoming call alerts, SMS notifications, and phone battery status directly on the display. The console also includes a real-time mileage indicator and a low fuel warning light. A USB Type-C port is provided for smartphone charging, enhancing utility for daily commuters.
According to Ashutosh Varma, Chief Business Officer of the India Business Unit at Hero MotoCorp, these upgrades are designed to bring advanced technology and greater utility to the 125cc segment. The motorcycle is now available at dealerships across the country.
