The automotive industry is maneuvering with discounts and GST 2.0 benefits in India. Opportunities for mobility brands are prepared to connect with changing consumer needs as the festive season approaches in the coming months. Hero VIDA has also introduced a comprehensive collection of value-added services designed to enhance every stage of EV ownership. The electric brand is making ways to offer simple EV transitions that are now more affordable and reliable for Indian customers.
These initiatives are strategically designed to bolster consumer confidence, maximize value, and promote a seamless transition to green mobility. Hero VIDA's new EV ownership includes an all-encompassing package of extended warranties, assured buyback, flexible battery subscriptions, nationwide roadside support, and advanced digital features. Let's examine the most recent EV ownership information and discover what it has to offer Indian consumers.

One of the most prominent features of VIDA’s EV ownership is the feature of extended warranty. The brand provides extended warranties to customers with greater peace of mind. VIDA is now offering a comprehensive extended warranty for its electric scooters. The brand has unavailed impressive extended warranty package offering coverage up to 5 years or 75,000 km.
In fact, the warranty’s highlight is a dedicated battery coverage of up to 5 years or 60,000 km, laying to rest concerns around initiative degradation, replacement costs, and sustained performance. All these initiatives will improve term performance and reliability for all electric scooters under the VIDA portfolio.
Another customer-centric feature is the assured buyback guarantee scheme by Hero VIDA. To rectify one of the biggest concerns among the EV buyers is resale feedback. To solve this, VIDA is now offering an assured buyback program, a first-of-its-kind in the segment.
After three years of ownership, customers can return their VIDA electric scooter and receive up to 67.5% of the original ex-showroom price. This transparent and hassle-free exit route ensures long-term cost certainty, making it easier for riders to upgrade or transition. With this scheme, customers can also reinforce trust in their vehicle’s long-term run.

VIDA now offers a unique Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) subscription model. Under this scheme, new customers are allowed to purchase the scooter chassis and subscribe to the battery separately under a scalable, pay-as-you-go plan.
With this approach, the initial price of EVs drops significantly, granting more Indian households access to advanced electric mobility at affordable monthly payments.

Another main problem for EV owners is the lack of charging infrastructure and hassle-free configuration for charging the vehicle. To evolve with this, VIDA brought an unlimited fast-charging network boasting over 3,600 stations across the nation. The subscription also provides owners with more than 40 connected features, including ride analytics, battery health monitoring, and over-the-air updates for an integrated digital journey.
Across the nation, VIDA’s 24/7 roadside assistance ensures riders are never stranded and should be helped in any road-aid cruises. These crises include busted flat tyres while riding, discharged batteries or mechanical faults.
VIDA’s services are seamlessly integrated into both online and physical channels, enabling customers to enroll, manage warranties, and access support via the brand’s dealership network and digital platforms. With over 500 specialized VIDA service centers supplemented by Hero MotoCorp’s 6,000+ strong service footprint, VIDA ensures timely repairs with trained technicians for India’s diverse consumer base.
