Ultraviolette Automotive has opened its first retail and service outlet in Northeast India. The new facility, called the UV Space Station, is located in Aizawl, Mizoram. This marks the company's entry into the region and expands its sales and aftersales network to Mizoram.

Expansion into Northeast India

The Bengaluru-based electric vehicle manufacturer partnered with dealer MSS Motors to establish the Aizawl outlet. The facility will offer sales, service, and customer support for Ultraviolette's electric motorcycles. Customers can access test rides, vehicle sales, after-sales support, accessories, and branded merchandise at the centre.
This move is part of Ultraviolette's strategy to increase access to its electric two-wheeler portfolio across new markets. The company aims to strengthen its national retail and service network by entering regions with growing demand for electric vehicles.
Product Offerings and Technical Details

The Aizawl facility will showcase Ultraviolette's current products, including the F77 and X-47 models. These motorcycles feature a 10.3 kWh battery pack and deliver an IDC-certified range of 323 km on a single charge. The powertrain produces 40.2 HP and 100 Nm of torque.
Ultraviolette's expansion into Northeast India responds to increasing interest from customers in the region. The company recognizes the strong motorcycling culture and adventure riding community in Northeast India. The Aizawl outlet, located at Ramhlun North near Zangena Petrol Pump, will serve as the first customer touchpoint in the region.
Recent Initiatives and Customer Benefits
Ultraviolette has introduced several initiatives to support its expansion. The 'Kill the Petrol Bill' program offers purchase incentives based on a customer's previous vehicle usage. Eligible customers can receive benefits of up to Rs 30,000 when purchasing an Ultraviolette motorcycle.
The company has also partnered with Bolt. Earth to expand access to charging infrastructure. These efforts aim to make electric mobility more accessible and convenient for new customers in emerging markets.
