Honda Elevate & Amaze Get CNG Options With Retrofit Kits from Dealership

The automaker hasn’t made any cosmetic changes to the CNG variants of the Honda Elevate and Amaze. The CNG cylinder is placed in the boot area, reducing luggage space.

Honda has officially offered the Elevate SUV and the Amaze sedan with CNG powertrain options and retrofit kits. However, the retrofit kits will be fitted at the dealership level. Honda Cars India has clarified that these CNG kits are government-approved. Customers must visit the nearest Honda dealership to book CNG variants of the Elevate and Amaze, as online bookings are unavailable for these models.

Honda Cars Discount Offers

Honda offers amazing discount benefits on its range of models, including the Honda City, where customers can save up to Rs 63,300 and up to Rs 65,000 on the hybrid variants of the City. Additionally, the offer applies to all variants of the City sedan. 

The Honda Elevate SUV also offers up to Rs 56,100 of benefits on most of its on-sale variants. The Elevate ZX variants have the highest benefit of up to Rs 76,100. Honda Elevate Apex Edition is also available at a discount of Rs 56,100, along with accessories worth Rs 35,000.

The S trim of the second-generation Honda Amaze is available with a price deduction of Rs 57,200, while the S CNG trim gets Rs 77,200 worth of benefits. 

Honda Car Exports Rise

Honda Cars India Ltd. recorded 126,151 sales units in FY 2024-25, a modest increase from 124,173 units in the previous financial year. The automaker experienced year-over-year (YoY) growth of 1.59%. The domestic sales for Honda cars stood at 65,925 units, while exports surged to 60,226 units, representing a 60% year-over-year growth.

In March 2025, Honda sold 7,228 units in the domestic market and exported 4,666 units to global markets. Compared to March 2024, when the automaker sold 7,071 units in the domestic market and 6,860 units in international markets, the automaker recorded a slight decline in domestic sales while experiencing a modest surge in exports, resulting in an overall decline of 14.7%.
