Hyundai Motor India Reports Total Sales of 64,803 Units in June 2024, Down by 1.22%

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced strong sales figures for June 2024, totaling 64,803 units down by 1.22%. This includes 50,103 units sold domestically and 14,700 units exported overseas.

HMIL's performance in the first half of 2024 has been notable, with total sales reaching 3,85,772 units. This marks a significant growth of 5.68% compared to the same period last year.

SUVs have emerged as the top performers in HMIL's domestic market, constituting 66% of total sales in the first half of 2024. The Hyundai CRETA, in particular, played a pivotal role, achieving sales of 91,348 units, reflecting an 11% increase from last year.

Mr. Tarun Garg, COO of Hyundai Motor India Limited, expressed satisfaction with the company's performance, stating, "We are pleased to report a 5.68% Year-on-Year growth in sales for the first half of CY2024. The success of our SUV lineup, especially the Hyundai CRETA, has been instrumental in driving our domestic sales."
