First launched in 2022 in India, Jeep Meridian has not been able to see the kind of success that its smaller 2 row version i.e. Jeep Compass has achieved in the India market. It looks like with the upcoming 2024 Meridian facelift, Jeep is all set to change this and make the Meridian a more compelling product. This can easily be confirmed by the recent spy shots and images of the 2024 Jeep Meridian facelift, who's camouflaged test mules have been under test for a few months now.
Recently too, the camouflaged test mule of the 2024 Meridian facelift was spotted while being tested on Indian roads. Although the spy images are a bit dark and of low resolution, it confirms a few things in the upcoming 3 row SUV from Jeep.
Jeep Meridian Facelift To Get ADAS
In the recent spy images of the Jeep Meridian facelift, one can easily spot two radar hardware units mounted on the lower air dam. This means a possibility of a millimeter wave module and level 2+ or 3 ADAS tech. Also, the front ultrasonic sensors can be seen in the corner of the front bumper. This signals towards self parking or autonomous parking features in the upcoming 3 row SUV.
Previously in early January too, we reported about the spy images of the Meridian facelift. In that story too, the test mule of the Meridian had a Bosch supplied ADAS hardware with dual radar setup and 6 ultrasonic sensors in the front bumper.

What Else Can You Expect In The New Jeep Meridian?
Apart from the ADAS tech, we expect Jeep to do some cosmetic and design changes in the exterior, new design alloys, probably full width connected taillamp design, etc.
We also expect a new & larger touchscreen infotainment system with an improved UI/UX, more advanced IoT/telematics/Connected car features, etc. in the upcoming 3 row Jeep SUV.
CarBike360 Says
Being in rivalry with SUVs like Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster and Skoda Kodiaq, the Jeep Meridian faces a fierce competition from these, and thus it truly requires a feature overhaul. With the addition of advanced ADAS and connected car tech, the facelifted Jeep Meridian is likely to become more desirable, premium, safe and sensible for the customers in this segment.
