Jethala Has Bought A New Kia Sonet Compact SUV

“Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah” actor Dilip Joshi who plays the role of “Jethalal” has bought a new Kia Sonet compact SUV. Despite being a famous actor, Dilip opted for the Sonet because he likes to keep it low-profile and an expensive luxury car would draw a lot of attention. He also posed with his family while taking the delivery of the car. It seems like Dilip Joshi has opted for the top-end variant.

Kia Sonet has become a popular compact SUV in its segment the moment it entered the market. It has played a major role in making Kia Motors profitable in just 2 years of entering the Indian market.

The Sonet goes against other well-established players such as Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Hyundai Venue. Other competitors include Toyota Urban Cruiser, Nissan Magnate, Renault Kiger, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300.

Price

The prices of the Kia Sonet start at Rs. 6.89 lakhs ex-showroom and goes up to Rs. 13.55 lakhs ex-showroom. Kia also launched a new Anniversary Edition of the Kia Sonet to celebrate its successful first year. The Anniversary Edition is priced at Rs. 10.79 lakhs ex-showroom. It is available in limited numbers.
