Design and Features

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 continues to feature a sporty design, though it now appears dated compared to newer models. It comes with a twin projector headlight setup, sharp fairing, and a well-designed side and tail section. For 2027, the bike is only available in the Lime Green colour, which is similar to the shade used on larger Kawasaki models.

Engine and Performance

The motorcycle is powered by a 296cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. This engine produces 38.4 HP and 26.1 Nm of torque. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox that includes an assist and slipper clutch for smoother gear shifts. The Ninja 300 uses a steel frame, supported by a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear.

Chassis, Wheels, and Brakes

The bike rides on 17-inch wheels fitted with tubeless tyres. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both the front and rear. While the Ninja 300 lacks advanced technology and premium suspension or braking hardware seen in some rivals, it is known for its reliability and consistent performance.

Market Position and Considerations

The Ninja 300 appeals to riders seeking a straightforward and proven supersport motorcycle. Its parallel-twin engine is known for being responsive and delivering good top-end performance. However, it does not offer the latest features or equipment found in competing models.

Buyers should also consider Kawasaki's spare parts and service costs, which may be higher compared to other brands. Kawasaki continues to offer nine more Ninja models in India, with prices starting from Rs 3,17,000.

CarBike 360 Says

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 continues to hold its ground in the entry-level sportbike segment with its refined engine, sporty styling, and trusted performance. While the lack of updates may disappoint some buyers, its strong brand value and smooth riding dynamics still make it a dependable choice for enthusiasts seeking a premium beginner-friendly motorcycle.
