The GTX and X-Line trims feature sporty design elements and unique interior themes. These variants are available only with the larger 51.4 kWh battery pack. The single front-mounted electric motor generates 171 PS and 255 Nm of torque. The ARAI-certified range for these variants is 490 km.
Lower variants of the Carens Clavis EV use a 42 kWh battery pack. These produce 135 PS and 255 Nm of torque, with an ARAI-certified range of 404 km.
Features and Equipment
The GTX, GTX+, and X-Line variants share most features with the HTX+ trim. Key features include dual 12.25-inch screens, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, a smart air purifier with AQI display, front ventilated seats, a 4-way powered driver’s seat, and a Bose premium sound system with 8 speakers. The V2L (Vehicle to Load) function supports both external and internal use. GTX+ and X-Line variants may also offer rear ventilated seats.
Safety features include ADAS Level 2, providing 20 autonomous functions. Both 6-seat and 7-seat configurations are available for the GTX, GTX+, and X-Line variants. The GTX and X-Line focus on aesthetic enhancements, such as dark gunmetal and glossy black accents, and exclusive interior color schemes. These design cues are similar to those seen in the Seltos GTX and X-Line trims.
Pricing and Seating Options
The Carens Clavis EV ER (Extended Range) GTX 6-seat and 7-seat variants start at Rs 22.99 lakh. This price is lower than the HTX+, which is priced at Rs 24.49 lakh. The GTX+ 6-seat and 7-seat variants are priced at Rs 24.99 lakh, as are the top-spec Carens Clavis EV ER X-Line 6-seat and 7-seat variants.
Kia has also expanded seating options. Buyers can now select captain seats from the HTX E trim onwards. This update allows 6- and 7-seat configurations across HTX E, HTX, HTX+, GTX, GTX+, and X-Line variants. The HTP/HTM and HTK+ trims remain available only as 7-seaters.
Kia continues to adapt its offerings based on customer and dealer feedback, aiming to meet evolving market demands with the Carens Clavis EV range.
