Kia Clavis Bookings Starts at Dealership Level

Kia Clavis, the new and premium version of Carens MPV, is confirmed to arrive in showrooms on May 8, 2025. Before its official price announcement, Kia dealerships nationwide commenced bookings for updated models. However, the official booking will start with the market launch on Thursday. Additionally, the Clavis MPV will be sold alongside the existing Carens. It's expected to be priced from Rs 11 lakh, ex-showroom, as it will directly compete with the Toyota Innova Crysta and lower-spec variants of the Toyota Innova Hycross and the Maruti Invicto.

The official teaser indicates that the upcoming Kia MPV will have a panoramic sunroof and ADAS feature. It may also pack a Bose sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, powered co-driver seat, wireless phone charger, 360-degree camera, 6 airbags, and front and rear parking sensors.
Kia Clavis Exterior Design
The upcoming Clavis MPV will feature a blacked-out grille, three-pod LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs in a triangular shape, and a sporty bumper with a silver faux skid plate. The rear will feature a refreshed LED tail lamp setup with an illuminated light bar.
Kia Clavis Engine Options
The engine details are not confirmed yet, but it may come mated with the same powertrain option available in existing Kia Carens models, including a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-liter turbo petrol, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. The naturally aspirated engine produces 115 PS with 144 Nm of torque, while the turbo petrol delivers 160 PS and 253 Nm. The diesel engine generates 116PS and 250 Nm of torque. These engine options include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed iMT, a 6-speed automatic, and a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox.
