Kia India’s top-performing model in FY2025 is the Sonet compact SUV, which has outpaced the Seltos in sales since January 2024. With an estimated 99,757 units sold, it narrowly missed the 100,000-unit mark by just 243 vehicles. The Sonet accounts for a significant 39% of Kia India’s overall sales and has reached a cumulative milestone of 400,000 units.
Once Kia’s leading model since its debut in August 2019, the Seltos has faced a challenging FY2025, with estimated sales falling to 72,729 units, which is a steep 27% decline year-on-year from 100,423 units in FY2024.
The premium Carens MPV recorded a modest 2.44% year-on-year growth, with estimated FY2025 sales at 64,712 units, up from 63,167 in the previous fiscal. Notably, the Carens surpassed the 200,000-unit cumulative sales mark in the domestic market in early February 2025, just three years after launch.
Kia’s newest addition, the Syros compact SUV, has made a strong debut with 15,986 units sold. It stands as the fourth-largest contributor to Kia India’s FY2025 performance and represents 21% of the company’s Q4 sales total of 75,576 units.
