Mahindra Logistics Limited reported a 23 percent year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue for Q1 FY27, reaching Rs 2,003 crore. The company maintained profitability improvements for a fourth consecutive quarter, driven by volume gains across its logistics and transport units.

Key Highlights

  • Mahindra Logistics consolidated revenue grew 23 percent year-on-year to Rs 2,003 crore in Q1 FY27.
  • Profit after tax reached Rs 25.4 crore compared to a net loss of Rs 10.8 crore last year.
  • The contract logistics segment grew 26 percent and express cargo revenue rose 58 percent year-on-year.
  • Last-mile delivery revenue declined 16 percent but segment earnings improved to Rs 2.6 crore.

Financial Performance Overview

The third-party logistics provider posted a consolidated profit after tax of Rs 25.4 crore for the quarter. This compares to a net loss of Rs 10.8 crore during the same period last fiscal year and a profit of Rs 20.2 crore in the preceding fourth quarter. Consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 51 percent year-on-year to Rs 115 crore.

Operationally, the contract logistics segment grew 26 percent year-on-year. The segment's EBITDA also increased by 31 percent. Express cargo operations experienced a 58 percent revenue increase year-on-year, attributed to higher container volumes and improved pricing yields.

Segment Performance Details

In corporate mobility, revenue increased by 38 percent year-on-year, while segment earnings grew by 8 per cent. The last-mile delivery business saw a revenue contraction of 16 percent year-on-year. Management stated this decline followed a deliberate portfolio recalibration to drop unprofitable accounts amid ongoing retail pricing pressures.

This allowed the division's segment earnings to improve to Rs 2.6 crore, compared to a loss of Rs 0.5 crore in the first quarter of the previous fiscal year. Mahindra Logistics continues to focus on operational efficiency and portfolio optimisation. The company aims to sustain profitability and growth across its logistics and transport segments in the coming quarters.
