The PV5 is Kia's first electric van, and it will make its formal premiere on February 27 at the 2025 Kia EV Day event. Under Kia's new Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) strategy, which aims to develop adaptable, all-electric multipurpose utility cars for both private and commercial usage, the PV5 is the company's first model.
The PV5 will be available in two body styles: Passenger and Cargo
The Passenger variant has a single lift-up bootlid, big windows, and a clean, contemporary look with high-mounted angular LED strips. In contrast, the Cargo model's boxier appearance and two side-opening rear doors optimize space economy.
Kia has only so far unveiled the PV5's exterior; complete inside photos are anticipated to be unveiled during the event. In foreign markets, the PV5 will face off against the Volkswagen ID Buzz.
