Kia Syros MY26 Update Adds Four Trims and Expands Diesel Automatic Options
Kia India has updated the Syros SUV for Model Year 2026, adding four new trims, expanding diesel automatic options to lower price points, and introducing design enhancements while retaining key features and safety ratings.

Kia India has launched the Model Year 2026 (MY26) update for its Syros SUV, introducing four new trims and expanding diesel automatic options. The new trims—HTE, HTE(O), HTK+(O), and HTX(O)—broaden the model's reach across various price points. The starting price for the updated Syros is now ₹8,39,900 (ex-showroom).
Key Highlights
- Kia Syros MY26 update introduces four new trims and revised pricing
- Diesel automatic option now available from HTK+ trim at ₹12,73,900
- Exterior updates include new bumpers, alloy wheels, and three new colour options
- Retains key features like panoramic display, sunroof, and five-star BNCAP safety rating
Expanded Diesel Automatic Availability
The MY26 update makes the diesel automatic powertrain available from the HTK+ trim and above. This option now starts at ₹12,73,900. Previously, buyers could not access the diesel automatic at this price point. The update aims to make both automatic and diesel variants accessible to a wider range of customers.
Kia has also redistributed features across the new and existing trims. This approach ensures that more buyers can access key features at different price levels.
Design and Feature Enhancements
The Syros MY26 receives several exterior updates. The front bumper now features body-coloured aero inserts, glossy black skid plates, and LED fog lamps. At the rear, the SUV gets a new bumper and an LED high-mounted stop lamp. The side profile includes glossy black roof rails, ORVMs, and body-coloured side garnish.
The HTX and HTX(O) trims come with new R17 (43.66 cm) crystal cut alloy wheels and neon-coloured brake calipers. Kia has also introduced three new colour options: Magma Red, Ivory Silver Matte, and Ivory Silver Gloss.
Retained Features and Safety

The Syros MY26 continues to offer several key features. These include a 76.2 cm Trinity Panoramic Display, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, ventilated front and rear seats, and a second-row recline and slide with a 60:40 split. The SUV maintains its five-star BNCAP safety rating.
According to Atul Sood, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Kia India, customer feedback has guided the Syros MY26 update. The changes focus on design enhancements and a revised trim and feature lineup to deliver greater value and choice.
Kia aims to strengthen the Syros' appeal to a broader customer base with these updates. The company encourages customers to visit dealerships to experience the new Syros MY26.
