Maruti Suzuki has announced the price of the Wagon R Bioflex at Rs 7.24 lakh (ex-showroom). This new variant is a flex-fuel version of the standard Wagon R and is based on the top-spec ZXi+ 1.2P MT model. Maruti revealed the production-spec Wagon R Bioflex at the beginning of June 2026.
Key Highlights
- Maruti Wagon R Bioflex priced at Rs 7.24 lakh ex-showroom
- Bioflex variant available only for commercial sector buyers
- Costs Rs 1.35 lakh to Rs 2.25 lakh more than Wagon R Tour H3
Wagon R Bioflex Pricing Details

The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Bioflex is available exclusively for the commercial sector. Its ex-showroom price stands at Rs 7.24 lakh. In comparison, the Wagon R Tour H3, which is also aimed at commercial buyers, is priced from Rs 4.99 lakh for the petrol manual-transmission variant and Rs 5.89 lakh for the CNG manual-transmission variant.
This makes the Bioflex version costlier by Rs 1.35 lakh to Rs 2.25 lakh compared to the Tour H3 models. The higher price reflects the flex-fuel technology and the larger engine offered in the Bioflex variant.
Engine and Variant Comparison
The Wagon R Bioflex is based on the ZXi+ 1.2P MT variant, which uses a 1.2-litre petrol engine. In contrast, the Wagon R Tour H3 comes with a smaller 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing a maximum power of 69 HP.
The flex-fuel capability of the Bioflex allows it to run on a wider range of ethanol-petrol blends, which is not available in the standard Tour H3 models. This feature is aimed at reducing emissions and offering more fuel options for commercial operators.
Commercial Sector Focus
Maruti has limited the availability of the Wagon R Bioflex to commercial buyers. The company has not announced plans to offer this variant to private customers at this time. The focus on the commercial sector is likely due to the demand for alternative fuel vehicles in fleet operations and government initiatives promoting cleaner mobility solutions.
The introduction of the Wagon R Bioflex expands Maruti's portfolio of alternative fuel vehicles. It also aligns with broader industry trends toward sustainable and flexible fuel options, especially in the commercial vehicle segment.
