Kia has released teaser images for its highly anticipated electric vehicles, the EV2, EV4, and PV5, ahead of their global debut on February 27, 2025, at the Kia EV Day event in Tarragona, Spain.
Kia EV2
The EV2, which was unveiled in concept form, is expected to be Kia's smallest electric vehicle worldwide. It has sub-4m dimensions and a split vertically set out LED lighting signature. It is anticipated that the EV2 would share parts with the Syros ICE SUV, which was just introduced in India.
Kia EV4
Both sedan and hatchback body variants will be available for the EV4's introduction. A front-mounted motor with 201 horsepower and 283 Nm of torque is anticipated to be powered by 58.3 kWh or 81.4 kWh battery pack choices. The EV4's distinctive design includes a sloping roofline and a tall, tapering bonnet.
Kia PV5
Like the VW ID Buzz, the PV5 is an electric van with a futuristic and neo-retro aesthetic. It has adaptable interior designs for various seating arrangements or extra room for freight. The PV5 is anticipated to have a large and open interior and share powertrains with the EV4.
The Kia EV Day event will also highlight Kia's new PBV (Purpose-Built Vehicle) platform, which allows for the versatile integration of several vehicle body types, and the company's expanding electrification plan.
