KTM has introduced the 1390 Super Duke RR Track, a track-only motorcycle limited to 100 units worldwide. This model stands as the most powerful production motorcycle ever made by the Austrian manufacturer. It is designed exclusively for circuit use and does not include any road-legal components.
Key Highlights
- KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track limited to 100 units worldwide
- Most powerful KTM production model with over 1 to 1 power to weight ratio
- Features carbon fibre, magnesium wheels, titanium hardware for weight reduction
- Equipped with MotoGP derived WP Pro suspension and Superbike spec Brembo brakes
- Track focused electronics suite with three ride modes and simplified TFT display
Key Features and Performance

The 1390 Super Duke RR Track is the first track-only Super Duke in KTM’s lineup. The motorcycle is built at KTM’s Mattighofen facility and complies with strict FIM circuit regulations. It weighs 177kg (wet, without fuel), which is 9kg lighter than the street-legal 1390 Super Duke RR and 20kg lighter than the standard 1390 Super Duke R.
KTM achieved this weight reduction by using carbon fibre bodywork, forged magnesium wheels, titanium fasteners, and a full titanium Akrapovič Evolution Line exhaust. The electronics package is simplified to suit its track-only purpose.
The engine is KTM’s latest LC8 V-twin, producing 196hp at 10,000rpm and 151Nm of torque. With the ram-air effect at speed, the output increases to 202hp. This results in a claimed power-to-weight ratio of over 1:1. The engine also features a redesigned ram-air intake and a larger 10-litre airbox for improved airflow and performance.
Chassis, Braking, and Electronics
The 1390 Super Duke RR Track uses WP Pro suspension derived from MotoGP technology. The braking system is Superbike-spec, with Brembo GP4 MS brake calipers and T-Drive discs at the front, and a Brembo P2.34 caliper with a wave disc at the rear. Both ends use Corsa Corta master cylinders. Michelin Power Performance slick tyres are standard equipment.
The motorcycle includes aerodynamic winglets to increase downforce and reduce front-wheel lift. The electronics suite offers three dedicated track ride modes, with adjustability for wheelie control and engine brake control. A simplified 4.2-inch TFT display, similar to the one on the 390 Enduro R, provides a track-focused interface. The switchgear is reduced for easier use on the circuit.
Ergonomics are tailored for track riding, featuring a lower handlebar, a revised tank shape for better support under braking, and a high level of rider adjustability. The 17.5-litre fuel tank is designed for optimal weight distribution. The bike uses a single-seat setup supported by a carbon fibre undertray.
Production and Availability
KTM will produce only 100 units of the 1390 Super Duke RR Track for global distribution. The image provided is for representation purposes only.
