Engine and Performance Comparison

The new 350cc single-cylinder engine produces 40.43bhp and 33.5Nm of peak torque. In comparison, the 399cc engine delivers 44.2bhp and 39Nm of torque. The 350cc engine offers less power and torque, but it may provide a slight improvement in fuel efficiency.

KTM introduced the 350cc engine to benefit from lower taxes applied to motorcycles under 350cc in India. This move makes the 390 Adventure more accessible to a broader range of buyers.

Features and Specifications

The rest of the motorcycle remains unchanged from the 399cc version. Suspension, wheelbase, and ground clearance are identical between the two models. Both variants also share the same features, including a TFT display and LED lighting.

The 350cc variant is only Rs 35,000 more expensive than the KTM 250 Adventure, making it a competitive choice in the segment. Despite the reduction in engine displacement and output, buyers still receive the same equipment and design as the higher-powered model.

Market Position and Availability

KTM will continue to sell both the 350cc and 399cc versions of the 390 Adventure in India. The introduction of the 350cc engine aims to attract customers seeking a lower price point and potential tax benefits.

With the launch of this new variant, KTM expands its Adventure series lineup and offers more options to buyers in the premium adventure motorcycle segment.
