Domestic Sales Performance
In the domestic market, KTM sold 8,926 units in March 2026. This marks a 41.06% YoY growth over the 6,328 units sold in March 2025. Despite this annual rise, domestic sales dropped 7.52% month-on-month (MoM) from 9,652 units in February 2026.
The 250cc range led domestic sales with 4,453 units, making up nearly 50% of the total. This segment also saw a strong 116% YoY growth, indicating rising demand. The 160/200cc range followed with 3,471 units, up 34.95% YoY and accounting for about 39% of domestic sales. The 390cc range declined, with 1,002 units sold, down 40.92% YoY. This drop may reflect a temporary slowdown or anticipation of new product launches.
Exports and Segment Analysis
Exports were the main growth driver for KTM in March 2026. The company shipped 5,262 units, a sharp rise from 488 units in March 2025. This equals a 978.28% YoY increase. The 390cc range dominated exports with 2,652 units, contributing more than 50% of export sales. The 160/200cc segment added 1,278 units, while the 125cc and 250cc ranges also contributed to the total. Exports grew 2.29% MoM, showing continued strength in international markets.
Combining domestic and export sales, the 250cc range led with 4,945 units, about 35% of total sales. The 160/200cc segment followed closely with 4,749 units, making up roughly 33%. The 390cc range accounted for 3,654 units, or about 26% of total sales. The 125cc segment added 840 units, with most of its growth coming from exports.
New Model Introductions
KTM has introduced new 350cc variants in the Duke and Adventure series. These models offer a more affordable alternative to the existing 399cc lineup. They retain similar design and core performance but benefit from lower pricing. This strategy aims to attract buyers who found the 390 range expensive and could help increase domestic sales in the mid-capacity segment in the coming months.
