KTM has launched new 350cc versions of the 390 Duke and 390 Adventure in India. These motorcycles join the existing 399cc models and offer more affordable options within the 390 range. The 350cc 390 Duke is priced at Rs. 2.77 lakhs, while the 390 Adventure 350cc costs Rs. 2.81 lakhs (ex-showroom). Both models are about Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 62,000 less expensive than their 399cc counterparts.
Key Highlights
- KTM introduces 350cc versions of 390 Duke and 390 Adventure in India
- New 350cc models priced Rs 60,000 to Rs 62,000 below 399cc counterparts
- 349.32cc engine produces 41.5 HP and 33.5 Nm torque
- Chassis and features remain unchanged from larger-capacity models
Key Specifications and Pricing

The new 350cc variants use a 349.32cc engine that produces 41.5 HP at 8600 RPM and 33.5 Nm at 7000 RPM. This output is about 4.5 HP and 5.5 Nm lower than the 399cc engine found in the higher-priced versions. Despite the smaller engine, KTM has kept the chassis, wheelbase, ground clearance, and ergonomics unchanged. Both motorcycles continue to feature TFT displays and electronic rider aids, similar to the 399cc models.
KTM has also updated the naming of its higher-capacity models. The standard 390 Duke is now called the 390 Duke R. The 390 Adventure lineup now includes the Adventure X, S, and R variants. These changes help buyers distinguish between the different engine options and trim levels.
Market Impact and Buyer Choices
The introduction of the 350cc variants creates a wider price spread within KTM’s mid-capacity lineup. The lower price point could attract new customers who previously found the 390 range too expensive. The price gap between the 250cc and 350cc models has also narrowed, which may influence buyer decisions and create overlap in the target audience.
Buyers now have more flexibility to choose a model that fits their budget and performance needs. However, the small difference in power between the 350cc and 399cc engines may lead some customers to question whether the extra cost of the larger engine is justified. KTM’s decision to sell the new variants alongside existing models expands its offerings rather than replacing any current options. This strategy allows KTM to maintain a strong presence across several price points in the performance motorcycle segment.
