LetzRyd has raised USD 4 million in a fresh funding round led by JIF Capital Ltd., with participation from Japan-based venture capital firm 15th Rock and existing investor UNLEASH Capital Partners. The mobility fleet platform says the new capital will help it strengthen its network, scale operations, and improve technology-led fleet and driver management.

The funding comes as the company pushes deeper into India’s fast-evolving ride-hailing ecosystem with an asset-backed, driver-first model. Operational since March 2024, LetzRyd says it is already seeing early momentum, including higher driver earnings and lower attrition, while preparing for expansion into more cities and mobility segments.

How the money will be used

According to the company, the fresh funds will go toward expanding its fleet network, improving operating systems, and enhancing vehicle utilization and service efficiency. LetzRyd also plans to invest more in driver-focused initiatives that support financial stability and ownership-linked opportunities for partners on its platform.

The startup’s model is built around supplying vehicles and drivers to taxi-hailing companies while also creating pathways to vehicle ownership through leasing arrangements. That mix, the company says, is designed to make mobility operations more efficient while also improving income visibility for drivers.

Building a mobility backbone

LetzRyd positions itself as a technology-enabled, asset-backed mobility platform aimed at solving some of the structural challenges in India’s urban transport market. Rather than simply supplying cars, it combines fleet deployment, driver management, and operational monitoring to improve uptime and service levels across its network.

The company says this approach helps bridge the gap between ride-hailing platforms and driver partners by creating a more integrated fleet ecosystem. In practical terms, that means better accessibility, tighter operations, and a structure that supports long-term sustainability for drivers and fleet operators.

Early operating gains

The startup says it has already built traction in a short period of operation. In its first year, LetzRyd claims driver earnings rose by 20 to 22 percent, while attrition stayed well below industry benchmarks.

The company also says it is backed by a 54-member team and is currently operating in three cities with more than 1,000 vehicles. It has reported double-digit month-on-month growth and says it is targeting profitability early in its journey, a milestone that many startups struggle to reach this soon.

Investor confidence

Tarun Jain, founder and CEO of LetzRyd, said the funding marks an important milestone as the company continues to build a technology-enabled fleet platform for the evolving mobility ecosystem. He said the company’s focus remains on creating sustainable opportunities for driver partners while strengthening the infrastructure behind modern urban mobility.

JIF Capital said it was impressed by LetzRyd’s execution and its driver-first approach, while UNLEASH Capital Partners pointed to the team’s sharp execution and strong market understanding. Both investors highlighted the startup’s ability to scale with discipline while keeping drivers at the center of the model.

Expansion ahead

Looking ahead, LetzRyd plans to use the capital to accelerate growth in its existing markets, enter new urban centers, and expand its vehicle base. It also wants to deepen its presence in newer mobility segments while continuing to invest in technology and operating systems that support scale.
