Mahindra just dropped the details on their upcoming electric SUVs—the BE 6 and XEV 9e—and here’s what you need to know. Starting February 14, 2025, at 9 AM, you can book either model, with prices kicking off at ₹18.90 lakh for the BE 6 and ₹21.90 lakh for the XEV 9e (ex-showroom).
The BE 6 tops out at ₹26.90 lakh, while the XEV 9e goes up to ₹30.50 lakh. Both SUVs run on Mahindra’s new INGLO platform and offer two battery choices: a 59 kWh pack and a beefier 79 kWh option.

The BE 6 promises up to 683 km on a single charge, and the XEV 9e isn’t far behind with 656 km. Power-wise, the 59 kWh battery delivers 231 PS, and the 79 kWh version bumps it up to 286 PS, with both packing 380 Nm of torque. If you’re eyeing the top-tier Pack Three variants, deliveries start mid-March 2025, while other trims will roll out gradually until August.
Other Details
Starting February 6 at 10 AM, you can pick your preferred model and trim on Mahindra’s website. Oh, and don’t forget—optional 7.2 kW or 11.2 kW fast chargers are available, though they’ll cost extra.
