In November 2024, Mahindra & Mahindra revealed its first-born electric vehicles, BE 6 and XEV 9e, while it commenced deliveries for these electric SUVs (only for Pack Three) in mid-March this year. In just two months, Mahindra has delivered over 10,000 units of BE 6 and XEV 9e SUVs. Both electric SUV models are getting overwhelming responses from Indian customers, which is proven by the more than 3,000 units delivered in April 2025 only.
Mahindra is aiming to start delivering Pack Two and Pack One variants in July and August, respectively. With the deliveries starting for Pack Two and One, Mahindra will witness even more sales for its electric SUVs. It will be interesting to see how these models perform after the launch of the Tata Harrier EV. Tata launched its Harrier.ev specifically to challenge the dominance of Mahindra in the premium electric SUV segment. It has offered multiple first-in-segment features to make the electrified version of Harrier ICE even more attractive to customers.
