Mahindra & Mahindra, a leading automotive manufacturer, announced today that the open bookings for its flagship model, the XUV700, have reached an impressive 35,000 units in February 2024. This follows the recent surge in demand for the SUV, making it one of the most sought-after vehicles in the Indian market.

Pan India Waiting List Hits 2.26 Lakh

The brand currently faces the challenge of fulfilling a substantial waiting list, with over 2.26 lakh bookings pending across the country. Despite this, Mahindra continues to attract new customers, receiving an additional 50,000 fresh bookings each month. However, cancellations account for approximately 10 percent of these new orders.

Monthly Influx of 7,000 Fresh Bookings

The Mahindra XUV700 maintains its popularity, with an average of 7,000 fresh bookings pouring in every month. This consistent demand underscores the SUV's appeal among Indian consumers.

MY24 Update Enhances XUV700 Appeal

Last month, the XUV700 received a Model Year 2024 (MY24) update, introducing a range of enhancements. The update includes a new color option, additional features, and a revamped captain seat layout for the second row. These improvements aim to elevate the driving experience and aesthetic appeal of the XUV700.

Anticipated Entry-Level Petrol Automatic Variant

Adding to the excitement, Mahindra is set to introduce a new entry-level petrol automatic variant for the XUV700. Recent leaks suggest that this variant will bring further diversity to the model lineup, catering to different customer preferences.
