Speaking at the launch, Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer (Marketing & Sales), highlighted the company’s commitment to going beyond regulatory requirements. As per the reports, he told the media, “Safety has always been a strategic priority, noting that Electronic Stability Program (ESP) is now standard across all models, while six airbags are offered as standard in 14 models—from entry-level hatchbacks to premium SUVs.”
He also added, “The company’s dedication is underscored by its state-of-the-art research and development center in Rohtak, backed by an investment of Rs 3800 crores, where more than 50 crash tests are conducted for every model before the actual launch.”
This milestone also includes the all-new Maruti Suzuki Dzire becoming India’s first sedan to get a 5-star BNCAP safety rating.
