The Maruti Suzuki Victoris reached the 1 lakh unit sales milestone in May, just over eight months after its launch in September 2025. The model achieved its first 50,000 sales within five months of introduction. Its highest monthly sales occurred in January 2026, when Maruti Suzuki sold 15,240 units of the Victoris.

Key Highlights

  • Maruti Victoris reached 1 lakh unit sales in May 2026, eight months after launch.
  • Victoris accounted for 20 percent of Maruti Suzuki UV sales in January 2026
  • The strong hybrid Victoris delivers the highest fuel efficiency at 28.56 kpl ARAI-rated
  • Victoris exported as Across with 4899 units shipped by March 2026

Sales Performance and Market Position

In January 2026, the Maruti Suzuki Victoris contributed 20 percent to Maruti Suzuki's utility vehicle (UV) sales, which totaled 75,609 units that month. It ranked as the company's third best-selling UV, following the Ertiga with 17,892 units and the Brezza with 17,486 units. The Victoris reached the 1 lakh sales mark faster than the Maruti Grand Vitara, which took one year to achieve the same milestone. However, the Hyundai Creta facelift, launched in January 2024, reached 1 lakh sales in just six months, making it the fastest in this segment.

Between August 2025 and May 2026, Maruti Suzuki sold over 7 lakh UVs. The Victoris accounted for 14 percent of these sales. In the current fiscal year, covering April and May, the Victoris recorded 24,554 unit sales. This places it as the fourth best-selling Maruti UV, behind the Fronx, Ertiga, and Brezza. If the current sales trend continues, the Victoris could surpass 1.5 lakh unit sales in the coming months.

The Victoris is also exported under the name 'Across' for international markets. By March 2026, Maruti Suzuki had exported 4,899 units of the Victoris. The model shares its powertrain options with the Grand Vitara. These include a 103 HP 1.5-liter mild-hybrid petrol engine, a 116 HP 1.5-liter strong-hybrid petrol engine, and an 89 HP 1.5-liter petrol-CNG variant.

The CNG version comes with a 5-speed manual transmission, while the strong hybrid uses an e-CVT. The mild-hybrid petrol offers a choice between a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque-converter automatic, depending on the variant. Top-spec mild-hybrid variants also feature an all-wheel-drive system.

In terms of fuel efficiency, the strong-hybrid Victoris leads with an ARAI-rated 28.56 kmpl. The CNG variant delivers 27.02 km/kg. The mild-hybrid models offer 21.18 kpl with the manual transmission, 21.06 kpl with the automatic, and 19.07 kpl for the all-wheel-drive automatic variant.

The Victoris is sold through Maruti Arena dealerships, while the Grand Vitara is available via the Nexa network. The Victoris includes features such as a space-saving underbody-mounted CNG tank and Level 2 ADAS, which are not available on the Grand Vitara.

The Victoris has received a five-star Bharat NCAP safety rating, while the Grand Vitara has not yet been tested. Prices for the Maruti Victoris range from Rs 10.77 lakh to Rs 19.72 lakh, ex-showroom.
