Price

The Revolt RV1 is priced at ₹84,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the standard model, while the higher-spec RV1 Plus is available at ₹99,990.

Specifications

The RV1 is powered by a mid-mounted 2.8kW motor, which drives the rear wheel via a chain drive system. Top Speed: Both variants have a top speed of 70 km/h.

Battery Options

  • Standard RV1: Equipped with a 2.2kWh battery, offering a range of 100 km per charge.

  • Standard RV1: Takes approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes to charge.
  • RV1 Plus: Requires about 3 hours and 30 minutes for a full charge. Fast charging can reduce this time to 1.5 hours.

Features

  • Design: The RV1 features a retro-themed design with a round LED headlight, giving it a commuter-centric look.
  • Display: It includes a 6-inch fully digital LCD dash.
  • Brakes: Both front and rear disc brakes with a 240mm disc at each end, complemented by a Combined Braking System (CBS).
  • Ride Modes: The bike offers multiple ride modes to suit different riding conditions.
  • Suspension: Telescopic forks at the front and dual rear springs.
  • Additional Features: LED headlight and tail lamp, reverse mode, and fast charging provision.

Warranty

Revolt Motors offers a 5-year/75,000 km warranty on the RV1 and its battery, along with a 2-year warranty on the charger.

Market Position

The RV1 is positioned as an entry-level commuter e-bike, sitting below the RV400 in Revolt’s lineup. It competes with other entry-level electric motorcycles like the Oben Rorr.

Conclusion

The Revolt RV1, with its competitive pricing and practical features, aims to attract urban commuters looking for an eco-friendly and cost-effective mode of transportation. Its launch signifies Revolt Motors’ commitment to expanding its electric vehicle portfolio and making electric mobility more accessible.
