After a long time Hyundai lost its second spot in the most selling car brand in India. Over the year Mahindra is showing tremendous growth and so it is reasonable to expect second spot. The SUV lineup of Mahindra has become very strong and dominant in the market. Apart from that Skoda has shown nice growth with the newly launched model Skoda Kylaq.

  • Mahindra grew by 18.9% (50,420 units), and Kia increased by 23.9% (25,026 units).

Brands That Struggled

  • Renault (-34.4%), Citroen (-36.3%), and Honda (-21.4%) saw big sales drops.
  • Hyundai (-4.9%) and Tata (-9.4%) also reported lower sales.
