The launch aims to serve younger motorcycle riders seeking high performance and adventure riding experiences. IPONE Product Portfolio Structure

IPONE's motorcycle engine oils are categorized using a system inspired by judo belt progression. This approach helps customers select the right oil based on riding intensity. The Black Belt or Race range is the premium tier. It features the flagship Shogun product, which is used in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. The Blue Belt range offers fully synthetic oils for sport riding. The Green Belt range contains semi-synthetic oils for daily use. The Yellow Belt tier provides standard oils at more accessible price points.

Technology and Market Strategy

Milind Acharya, Chief Marketing Officer at Motul India and South Asia, explained that the new IPONE oils use polyalphaolefin and ester-based technologies. These formulations aim to deliver high performance and reliability. The judo belt visual system is designed to make lubricant selection easier for consumers.

The initial launch will target six core and fourteen key markets. Motul India will leverage both offline and online distribution networks to reach customers. The company also plans to address the needs of ride-hailing platforms, gig economy drivers, and institutional fleet operators through structured offerings.
