Mahindra has introduced the XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition, a new premium variant of its flagship Electric Origin SUV. Priced at Rs 29.35 lakh (ex-showroom), it stands as the most expensive XEV 9e model available. The standard XEV 9e range starts from Rs 21.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The Cineluxe Edition aims to enhance the luxury appeal of the XEV 9e with exclusive design features and an upgraded cabin experience.

Key Features and Specifications

Bookings for the XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition will open on 2nd March 2026, with deliveries beginning from 10th March 2026. The special edition offers two unique exterior colours: Satin Black and Satin White. These are complemented by Chestnut Brown and Nocturne Black smooth-grain leatherette interiors. The cabin is designed to provide a lounge-like atmosphere, focusing on premium materials and refined details.
The XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition features a coast-to-coast triple HD display and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos. The Infinity Roof and ambient lighting system offer over 16 million colour options, allowing users to personalise the cabin environment. Mahindra describes the Cineluxe as a theatre-inspired luxury experience, not just a cosmetic update.
This edition is based on the top-spec Pack Three variant and is powered by a 79 kWh battery pack. It delivers a real-world driving range of over 500 km, ensuring that luxury features do not compromise performance or practicality.
Advanced Technology and Safety
The Cineluxe Edition retains the full feature suite from the Pack Three variant. Key features include the StraightAhead VisionX AR heads-up display, EyeDentity Driver & Occupant Monitoring, HandsFree Park (Auto Park Assist), and Secure360 safety system.
Mahindra has also added new technology options such as Camp, Keep, and PawPal HVAC modes, Custom Drive Modes, Digital Key, Secure360 Pro, and personalised user profiles. These additions aim to improve comfort, convenience, and safety for occupants.
Market Position and Launch Timeline
The XEV 9e was first unveiled globally in November 2024 and has since gained significant interest in the premium electric SUV segment. With the launch of the Cineluxe Edition, Mahindra strengthens the XEV 9e’s position as a luxury-focused electric SUV.
