Yezdi is poised to update its lineup with the eagerly anticipated introduction of an updated Yezdi Scrambler. Unveiled at a recent dealer meet, this refreshed model is slated for release by the end of July 2024. Anticipation mounts as enthusiasts await a blend of timeless retro design with contemporary upgrades.
Design and Features
From what is caught on the camera, it is slightly revealed that subtle changes in designs and features have taken place. However, the retro style and vibe of Yezdi has remained constant. The classic model houses a tweaked fuel tank design along with orange hue shade with blue stripes. This single-piece seat has a simplistic cover sans grab rails, while the absence of a tail light on the showcased bike raises interest. To mark its own identity in the market, the bike comes with a single-sided exhaust unit, unlike the current Yezdi Scrambler's dual-exhaust configuration.

Performance Expectations
Engine specification of this new Scrambler has not been disclosed yet, but it is expected that the bike will remain unchanged when it comes to the existing 334cc, single-cylinder motor. With an output of 28.7bhp and 28.2Nm torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox, the engine is known to deliver a spirited performance. In addition to this, to enhance the user experience, an updated dual-pod analogue cluster and a charging setup on the left side of the handlebar can be expected.

Hardware and Riding Dynamics
Looking at the hardware configuration, it reflects the road-oriented capabilities. We can see adoption of telescopic front forks with gaiters and a monoshock rear suspension system. Braking duties are assigned to single discs at both ends, supported by dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety. Along with this the traditional spoke wheels with off-road tires make way for alloy wheels clad with road-biased Pirelli tires.
Price Point
Yezdi Scramble is definitely going to focus on the targeted demographic, it can be seen from the new updated version of the motorcycle being displayed at the dealership. Currently priced at Rs. 2,09,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi), we can expect the updated bike to be priced slightly higher.
CarBike360 Says
