Key Features of the CNG Retrofit Kit

The CNG retrofitment kit uses a twin cylinder configuration with two 25 liter tanks. This design helps the GRAVITE retain its seven-seater capacity and preserves third row passenger space. Motozen developed, manufactured, and quality tested the system specifically for this model.
The retrofit kit is a sequential BS6.2 compliant system. It has received safety and reliability certifications from the International Centre for Automotive Technology. The cylinders have a wall thickness of 8.1 millimeters, which enhances durability. The system also includes Dynamic Advancer Technology, tuned for the GRAVITE.
The fuel filling receptacle is positioned beneath the standard fuel lid. This placement provides a factory finish appearance and maintains the vehicle's exterior design.
Warranty and Availability
Buyers of the CNG kit receive a warranty covering three years or 1,00,000 kilometers on the CNG components. A third party provider manages this warranty. The kit is available at an introductory price and can be installed at authorized Nissan dealerships.
Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, stated that the twin cylinder solution meets the needs of customers who want the space of a multi-purpose vehicle and the cost savings of CNG. The launch supports Nissan's strategy to offer more fuel-efficient options while maintaining passenger comfort.
