Nissan India just bumped up prices for its Magnite compact SUV. The sub-four-meter SUV, which had been selling with an introductory discount for the first 10,000 buyers, now costs up to ₹22,000 more depending on the trim. The base price now starts at ₹6.12 lakh (ex-showroom), climbing to ₹11.72 lakh for the top variants.
Nissan Magnite Facelift Price Hike Breakdown (Ex-Showroom)
Variant | Engine Type | Transmission | Price Hike |
Tekna NA Petrol AMT | 1.0L NA Petrol | AMT | ₹19,000 |
Tekna+ NA Petrol AMT | 1.0L NA Petrol | AMT | ₹19,000 |
N-Connecta NA Petrol MT | 1.0L NA Petrol | Manual | ₹8,000 |
N-Connecta Turbo Petrol CVT | 1.0L Turbo Petrol | CVT | ₹15,000 |
Tekna Turbo Petrol CVT | 1.0L Turbo Petrol | CVT | ₹22,000 |
Tekna+ Turbo Petrol CVT | 1.0L Turbo Petrol | CVT | ₹22,000 |
New Price Range | ₹6.12 lakh – ₹11.72 lakh |
Breaking it down, the non-turbo (NA) petrol models saw hikes between ₹8,000 and ₹19,000. For example, the Tekna and Tekna+ AMT trims jumped by ₹19,000, while the N-Connecta manual got the smallest bump at ₹8,000. Turbo petrol versions weren’t spared either—they’re now ₹15,000 to ₹22,000 pricier. The N-Connecta Turbo CVT went up by ₹15,000, but the Tekna and Tekna+ Turbo CVT variants took the biggest hit at ₹22,000.
Under the hood, the Magnite still packs two engine options: a 1.0-liter three-cylinder NA petrol paired with either a 5-speed manual or AMT, and a turbocharged 1.0-liter petrol with a manual or CVT. Despite the price hike, Nissan’s positioning the Magnite as a feature-loaded, budget-friendly choice in India’s crowded compact SUV market. If you’re shopping in this segment, it’s worth a look—though you might want to act fast before any future updates or adjustments.
