Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition Unveiled, Launching later this year

​Nissan Motor India is set to expand its portfolio in the competitive SUV market in India. As per the latest reports, Nissan has recently teased the all-new Magnite Kuro Edition. However, it's not the first time the brand has revealed the Kuro Edition. This special edition was introduced in 2023. Now, with the facelift version, the special edition of the Magnite has also been added to the catalog.

The upcoming Magnite Kuro Edition is the special edition of its popular Magnite model. The official teaser released highlights a sophisticated all-black exterior and interior design theme. What’s with the update?

Nissan Magnite revealed a new teaser for its new edition in India. The teaser released hints at a new Kura Edition, which was first launched in 2023, and since the update, the special edition has been discontinued. Now the brand is trying to bring it back for the Magnite facelift. In the Kura edition, the car will be indulged in an all-black theme. Moreover, the chrome accents will also be replaced with gloss black elements.

Considering the design and dimensions, the Kura edition will share the same design structure as the standard variant. However, a few aesthetic approaches will get tweaked and twisted in both the exterior and interior. It is also expected to feature black alloy wheels in the same design as the current model.

​Nissan Magnite Kura Edition: Expected Features

The all-new Kura Edition might be available only for the top trim variant named Nissan Magnite Tekna+. However, the brand has not yet confirmed the availability of the Kura Edition. Talking about the features, the Kura Edition is likely to get features like a 360-degree camera, black-shaded premium upholstery, Bluetooth connectivity, and automatic climate control. Powertrain Specs

Under the hood, the car will be powered by a 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 71 HP and 96 Nm of torque. This engine is mated with a 5-speed manual transmission. However, an option for the 5-speed automatic is also available for the customers.

Another engine offered with the Kuro Edition is the 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine that churns out 99 HP of power and 152 Nm of maximum torque. This engine configuration comes with a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT as an option. Customers can choose any powertrain according to their preferences.
