Nissan Motor India has announced up to Rs 55,000 worth of benefits on its flagship Nissan Magnite, with an extra Rs 10,000 carnival benefit. Nissan has called it Hattrick Carnival, and the offers under it will remain valid from the 1st to the 30th of April 2025. Moreover, the automaker is also offering a gold coin on every Nissan car purchase.

Nissan Registered Highest Ever Sales

Nissan reported the highest highest-ever sales in India since FY2018, where the majority of sales are led by its flagship Nissan Magnite SUV. Launched in October 2024, this B-SUV has been crucial in the growth of Nissan Motor in India and international markets. 

In FY2024, the automaker reported consolidated sales of over 99000 units, witnessing 35% YoY growth. The automaker sold over 28,000 units in the domestic market, while it exported 71,000 units in global markets. Nissan’s export figures have significantly risen from 20% to 65%, making India a reliable and crucial production hub.

Nissan Magnite sales surpassed 150,000 units by the end of August 2024, with a noticeable export number of 50000 units, including both RHD and LHD variants, with Saudi Arabia emerging as the prominent import market for its LHD variants. 

Under the mission of One Car, One World, Nissan is strengthening its position as a leading global automobile exporter. Nissan has seen consistent growth in its export shipments, which have increased from 32389 units in FY2020 to 71000 units in FY2024.

As part of its plans, this Japanese automobile manufacturer has announced plans to launch two models in the coming months, including a seven-seater B-MPV and a C-SUV. Additionally, the automaker is rapidly expanding its dealership network to ensure better and more efficient customer service. 

With its global restructuring plan, Nissan is gearing up to overhaul its operations in India strategically. As per the available news, the company is ready to divest its shares in the Chennai Joint Venture Factory to its partner, Renault, and the deal is likely to be finalized by mid of this year. Nissan highlighted that this crucial move will streamline its operations and enhance agility while maintaining its focus on catering to the needs of Indian markets.
