Nissan Unveiled 2024 Kicks, a Compact SUV, to rival Hyundai Creta
Nissan's latest Kicks SUV promises upgraded features for a redefined driving experience. With enhanced design, advanced tech, and safety features, it aims to set new standards in the compact SUV segment.

To mark its presence in the compact SUV segment, Nissan has recently unveiled its most-awaited second generation Nissan Kicks SUV before its debut at New York Motor Show 2024. Kicks promises a bunch of upgraded features which will be aiming to provide redefined driving experience to the customers.
It was in January 2019, when Nissan introduced Kicks in India. However the vehicle failed to gain attention in the Indian market and discontinued in 2023. Lower sales and Strict emission laws lead to such discontinuation. However, in the international market, specifically in Brazil, North America, and some Asian Regions, the four-wheeler has marked a significant position among enthusiasts.
Enhanced Design and Dimensions
The enhanced dimensions offered by Nissan is what catches the attention of many. With more spacious legroom and shoulder space for rear passengers and comfortable seats, the vehicle features an increased length of 4,366 mm, width of 1,800 mm, and height of 1,630 mm. Along with this a longer wheelbase measuring 2,656 mm for better driving on rough terrain, can easily be noticed.
Exterior Updates
Taking the exterior of the second-generation Nissan Kicks in consideration, we can notice many cosmetic and functional features. The exterior of Kicks can be claimed to build on the same platform on which Mitsubishi X-Force SUV. The new Kicks features horizontally slatted grille, sleek LED headlamps, vertically positioned LED tail lamps, and top-spec variants adorned with large 19-inch alloy wheels.

Advanced Features and Safety
A wide range of advanced features can be seen equipped in Nissan Kick in its interior. The base variant of the vehicle features a 7-inch display, on the other hand the top-spec variant offers a 12.3 inch screen. Nissan's Zero Gravity seats, wireless charging, USB-C ports, capacitive touch controls, panoramic sunroof, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, are some of the features which you can easily find in Nissan Kicks. As for the matter of safety, Nissan Safety Shield 360 ADAS Suite and a 360° camera system, helps in advancing the safety features in the SUV.
Prospects in the Indian Market
Considerable excitement has already built in among the enthusiasts after the unveiling of Nissan Kicks. If launched, the four-wheeler will be competing with Hyundai Creta. Though its launch is determined in the international market, its Indian inauguration is yet not disclosed by the brand. However, currently Nissan already has its ongoing projects related to Renault Triber-based MPV and a Nissan version of the new Renault Duster.
