Oben Electric starts Rorr Evo deliveries after 25000 bookings in just 15 days

Oben Electric has started delivering its Rorr Evo electric motorcycle to customers in Bengaluru. The company received over 25,000 bookings for the Rorr Evo within 15 days of its launch in May 2026. Oben Electric plans to expand deliveries nationwide through its network of more than 150 showrooms in the coming weeks.

Rorr Evo Delivery and Production Plans

The Bengaluru-based manufacturer is scaling up deliveries using its production facility, which has an annual capacity of over one lakh electric motorcycles. Oben Electric operates a retail and service network that includes more than 150 showrooms and Oben Care service centres. These facilities span over 90 cities across 18 states in India.

The company says the strong booking numbers for the Rorr Evo highlight rising interest in electric motorcycles. In India, motorcycles make up nearly 65% of total two-wheeler sales. However, electric motorcycles remain a small part of the electric two-wheeler market.

Madhumita Agrawal, Founder and CEO of Oben Electric, stated that delivering motorcycles to customers is a key milestone. She said that meeting demand with timely deliveries helps build lasting customer trust.

Rorr Evo Features and Specifications

The Oben Electric Rorr Evo is priced at Rs 1,24,999 (ex-showroom). It uses a proprietary 9 kW electric motor and a 3.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack. Oben Electric claims the motorcycle can reach a top speed of 110 km/h and offers an IDC-certified range of 180 km. The Rorr Evo can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in three seconds.

The company also claims the Rorr Evo supports fast charging, reaching 0-80% charge in 90 minutes. The battery comes with an eight-year warranty. The motorcycle features Oben’s AI-based SmartIQ ride optimisation technology, which can improve range by up to 15% according to the company.

Additional features include a 5-inch TFT display, over-the-air software updates, turn-by-turn navigation, geo-fencing, remote immobilisation, and fall detection with emergency SOS through the ARGUS connected platform.

Manufacturing and Market Expansion

Oben Electric designs and manufactures key electric vehicle components in-house. This includes battery packs, motors, vehicle control units, chargers, and software. The company expects its manufacturing capacity and expanding retail network to support the nationwide rollout of the Rorr Evo. The Rorr Evo’s launch and delivery mark a significant step for Oben Electric as it seeks to increase its presence in India’s electric motorcycle segment.
