In a significant move towards promoting sustainable transportation, Ola Electric, a leading homegrown electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has recently introduced its most affordable S1 variant, the S1 X, to the Indian market - the S1X (4kWh) electric scooter. Packed with advanced features and a competitive price point, the S1X (4kWh) aims to redefine the landscape of electric mobility in the country.
Key Features
The newly launched S1X is built on the innovative Gen-2 platform, boasting a powerful 6kW motor that ensures swift acceleration from 0-40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. With a top speed of 90 km/h and an impressive driving range of 190 km on a single charge, the S1X promises an unparalleled riding experience for urban commuters and enthusiasts alike.
Colour Options
One of the standout features of the S1X (4kWh) is its wide range of color options, including: Red Velocity, Midnight, Vogue, Stellar, Funk, Porcelain White, and Liquid Silver, allowing consumers to choose a style that suits their preferences.

Industry-First Warranty Program
To address concerns regarding battery longevity, Ola Electric has introduced an extended battery warranty of 8 years or up to 80,000 km across all its products. Moreover, customers have the option to extend the warranty further, up to 125,000 km, through an add-on warranty package starting at ₹4,999.

Our 8-year extended battery warranty at no added cost, coupled with the expansion of our service and charging network across India, will set a new benchmark in the EV industry and elevate the ownership experience of all our customers.”
Aggarwal emphasised the company's commitment to enhancing the EV ownership experience by expanding its service and charging network across India. As part of this initiative, Ola Electric plans to increase its service network by 50%, reaching around 600 service centres by April 2024.
In line with its service expansion plan, Ola Electric aims to bolster its fast-charging network to 10,000 points by the next quarter. Additionally, the company has introduced a portable fast charger accessory of 3KW, available for purchase at ₹29,999, catering to the needs of on-the-go charging for EV owners.
Product Lineup and Pricing
- The e-scooter, Ola S1 X is available at the price of Rs1,09,999, with EMI starting at Rs 2,499/month.
- Apart from the S1X (4kWh), Ola Electric offers a range of other e-scooters catering to diverse consumer preferences and budgets.
- The S1 X+, S1 X (3kWh), and S1 X (2kWh) are priced at ₹99,999, ₹89,999, and ₹79,999, respectively. The flagship S1 Pro (2nd Generation) is available at ₹1,47,499, while the S1 Air is priced at ₹1,19,999.
