Porsche Unveils Cayenne S Electric Globally
Porsche has introduced the Cayenne S Electric, a new variant positioned between the base Cayenne Electric and the Turbo model. The Cayenne S Electric features a 113kWh battery and dual motors, with the rear motor oil-cooled for enhanced performance. This setup delivers 544hp to all four wheels, and with launch control, output rises to 666hp. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100kph in 3.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250kph.

Performance, Range, and Charging
The Cayenne S Electric offers the highest range in the model line-up, with a WLTP-claimed 653km on a single charge. The battery supports up to 400kW DC fast charging, allowing a 10-80 percent charge in under 16 minutes. Porsche offers the optional Sport Chrono package, which adds a push-to-pass function for 666hp bursts lasting 10 seconds and a Track mode that optimizes battery performance for circuit driving.
Buyers can also select features previously exclusive to the Turbo variant, such as active suspension, carbon ceramic brakes, and torque vectoring. The Cayenne S Electric stands out with unique 20-inch wheels and revised bumpers featuring Volcano Grey skid plates. Thirteen exterior color options are available.
Interior Features and Options

The interior of the Cayenne S Electric mirrors other Cayenne Electric variants but offers a range of personalization options. Standard features include two-tone leather upholstery, 14-way powered and ventilated front seats, 4-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a 14.5-inch curved infotainment touchscreen, a digital driver’s display, a 14-speaker Bose sound system, and a wireless charging pad.
Optional upgrades include a 14.9-inch passenger display and a heads-up display with augmented reality technology. The Sport Chrono package also adds a stopwatch on the dashboard. Porsche continues to allow extensive customization of interior equipment.
Market Availability and Pricing
The Cayenne S Electric is now available in the UK, starting at £99,900 (Rs 1.24 crore). In India, Porsche currently sells the base Cayenne Electric and Turbo models at Rs 1.76 crore and Rs 2.26 crore, respectively. It is not yet confirmed if the Cayenne S Electric will be launched in the Indian market.
